The Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch, Placerville, CA

The air was cool and crisp in Placerville, and the pine needles were scattered loosely across the windy road.  As we pulled into the driveway at the Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch there was a large group of fellow photographers standing around the front of the inn, camera gear hanging from their bodies, and they were all drooling at the bit.  After the long drive up to Placerville, we were all ready to have fun and create images with some gorgeous models.  We gathered around the first scene to shoot we practically elbowed each other to get a clear view, but after waiting patiently, I was able to find a spot I was happy with and began to capture some images.  Here are a few from the day...

This trip to Placerville was the first field trip I've taken with the PPSV (Professional Photographers of the Sacramento Valley).  We had a lot of fun that day and even had a potluck afterwards, in the cozy, warm lodge.  It was a great chance to socialize and relax before the drive home.  Here are some behind the scene's shots I was able to sneak...

Can't wait to see what everyone else got!
