William Land Park-Family Portrait Session

I just love when I meet a couple who are first-time parents.  Seeing them drag around the car seat, the diaper bag, the extra blankets, the purse, the keys, "oh hun, I forgot to grab the ____".  It just shows how selfless we become as parents to turn our lives upside down and inside out to make sure our children's needs are met.  We rearrange our lives for them, every priority gets shuffled around, and yet we just make it all happen and move along with ourselves.  Do what we gotta do. 

I met with the Reaugh Family last week at William Land Park in Sacramento to do some portraits and they obviously are in the midst of the all-consuming baby phase.  I give them major props for luggin' around all that stuff for our excursion around the park with their baby boy.  Okay, so the little guy totally stole the show!  He is sooo stinkin' cute.  All I had to say was "fingers and toes!" and he'd get this big ol' grin across his sweet face.  Too funny.  Thank you, Reaugh Family, for asking me to do these portraits!  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the session.  Enjoy!
